An exciting opportunity is available for a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist to join a friendly and collaborative team at a well-established regional base hospital in southern New South Wales.

This permanent position offers exposure to a diverse case mix, including:

• General surgery

• Emergency procedures

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality perioperative care, supporting junior medical staff, and contributing to clinical governance, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• FANZCA or equivalent
• Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility via the Expedited Specialist Pathway or Area of Need Pathway or Specialist Pathway (with the ANZCA assessment outcome - Substantially Comparable)
• Demonstrated experience in a broad range of anaesthetic procedures
• Strong commitment to teaching, clinical excellence and patient safety
