Staff Specialist Anaesthetist - Perm/NSW(G)

We are seeking a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist to join a dynamic and supportive team at a well-established regional base hospital in northern New South Wales.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time (part-time considered) opportunity to deliver high-quality anaesthetic services across a varied case mix, including:

• General surgery
• Orthopaedics
• Obstetrics & gynaecology
• Emergency surgery

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality perioperative care, supervising junior medical staff, and contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• FANZCA or equivalent
• Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility via the Expedited Specialist Pathway or Area of Need Pathway or Specialist Pathway (with the ANZCA assessment outcome - Substantially Comparable)
• Demonstrated experience in a broad range of anaesthetic procedures
• Strong commitment to teaching, clinical excellence and patient safety
