Career Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine - NSW

Global Medics is seeking an Emergency Medicine CMO to join a well-established hospital in north-eastern New South Wales.

The hospital is a rural acute care facility located in the heart of the Northern Rivers region and it plays a vital role in delivering emergency, medical, and surgical services to the local community.

As a CMO in Emergency Medicine, you will provide independent, frontline medical care to a diverse range of patients. You will work closely with Emergency Specialists while also supporting junior medical staff, ensuring safe and effective care delivery in a busy ED environment.

Clinical duties will include:

• Perform timely assessment, diagnosis, and management of adult and paediatric ED patients, including acute emergencies, trauma, medical, surgical, and mental health presentations.
• Initiate investigations, treatment, and procedures aligned with your scope of practice and experience.
• Contribute to the safe and effective management of critical and high‑acuity patients.

Renumeration: AUD $185,269 - $220,018 per year depending on experience

Requirements:

• current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration through the Competent Authority Pathway.
