Global Medics is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar (Unaccredited Trainee) to join a leading hospital in north-eastern New South Wales.

The hospital is a state-of-the-art facility, opened in 2024. With 430 beds, 12 operating theatres, and advanced diagnostic and interventional services it offers a modern, high-volume environment for surgical practice. The hospital provides comprehensive care across specialties including ICU, cancer care, cardiology, maternity, paediatrics, and mental health, supported by cutting-edge technology and an academic health alliance for research and training.

Role Overview

The primary purpose of the position is to provide quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients in a complex clinical environment. You will work under an appropriate level of supervision according to your level of competence to evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to female patients presenting in any condition or stage of pregnancy or the puerperium; and female patients presenting with illnesses, injuries and disorders of the gynaecological or genitourinary system.
You will work in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings including inpatient ward care, birthing unit, theatres and outpatients (e.g. antenatal, postnatal and gynaecology) clinics.

Requirements:

  • current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration through the Competent Authority Pathway.
  • A minimum 1 year of experience at a Registrar level in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
