Registrar in ICU - NSW

Global Medics is recruiting for a Registrar in ICU position based at a major regional referral hospital located in the northern region of New South Wales.

This is a 12-month fixed-term role offering excellent clinical exposure and career development.

The hospital is a level 3/4 facility providing a broad range of medical, surgical, and supportive health services to the Clarence Valley community.

The role requires to provide safe and high-quality care, assess and manage ICU patients under supervision.

The hospital provides intensive and critical care services as part of its wider acute care capability, which includes medical, surgical, anaesthetic, paediatric, geriatric, renal, oncology, emergency, and palliative care. This positions the ICU as a crucial component of the hospital's emergency response and acute inpatient service network

The ICU operates within a 24/7 hospital environment with onsite emergency services, medical imaging, surgical services, and multidisciplinary allied health support-ensuring continuity of care for critically unwell patients.

Requirements:

• current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration through the Competent Authority Pathway.
• A minimum 1 year of experience at a Registrar level in ICU.
