Global Medics is seeking a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for a permanent position at a large public hospital based in northern New South Wales area.

The hospital offers a well‑supported and collaborative environment for doctors working in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The service provides multiple models of pregnancy care, including midwifery‑led clinics, GP‑shared care, and obstetrician‑led clinics for more complex pregnancies. This ensures doctors are exposed to a diverse caseload across low‑risk and high‑risk obstetrics.

The Obstetrics & Gynaecology service provides:

  • Multiple antenatal care models (midwifery‑led, GP‑shared, obstetric‑led)
  • Birthing facilities including 3 birth rooms, 10 postnatal beds
  • A Special Care Nursery with experienced staff
  • Access to allied health and private practitioners
  • Gynaecological services via affiliated specialists
  • A planned major redevelopment that will further expand maternity infrastructure
