Position: General Practice - Clinic Work
Location: Newstead, QLD
We are currently looking for a talented general practitioner who have a passion for community and preventative healthcare to work in a brand new clinic in Queensland. Working hours are determined by the general practitioner. The clinic is open from 7am-7pm Monday- Saturday. No weekend or on-call work required. Salary is negotiable. It's a private billing clinic however, up to the practitioner to bulk-bill certain demographics such as pensioners
This brand-new clinic's aim is to provide nothing short of the best medical practice in Australia. It's a family-owned clinic and focus on providing streamlined healthcare via proprietary technology. Using the Next Practice app, GPs and the Allied Health team have the ability to prescribe information on acute issues and chronic disease that is readily available to each patient on their own profiles. The clinic aspires to be recognized and respected as a leader in the industry for best practice. They are committed to providing the best possible diagnosis, treatment and availability at all times, to all patients. The clinic is made up of 2 other GPs and 2 resident nurses who aim to provide whole person care in a relaxed and friendly environment. There is also Allied Health services on site which includes dieticians, exercise physiologist and physiotherapists. They operate as a private billing clinic and use Helix by medical director. There will be a diverse demographic of patients.
This suburb is just under 15 minutes north-east from Brisbane's Central business district where you can find shopping centre, nightlife and numerous restaurants. There is great public transport to both the CBD and airport. The area is mostly made up of young families/professionals. It has a growing nightlife scene made up of craft breweries and pubs. There is sporting amenities and parks also. It is a great place to live to soak up the city life but also to settle with a family.
