General Practice - Tarneit- Bulk Billing

Position: Female General Practitioner (DPA)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Tarneit, Victoria
Salary: 70% of billing or $130 an hour for the first 3 months

The Position
We are currently looking for a female general practitioner in Tarneit's family medical centre. The opening hours are 7 days a week. Monday- Friday 9am to 9pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm.You will be given support to provide a chosen specialty to patients.

The Centre
The family clinic is a bulk billing clinic owned by three general practitioners. It consists of seven consulting rooms and three bed treatment rooms. There is a pharmacy, dentist and pathology collection rooms on site. The staff consist of five part-time doctors, two nursing staff, five receptionists and one practice manager. A very multicultural clinic with patients and staff from around the world. The clinic also has allied health and other professionals including dietitian, podiatrist and osteopaths.

The Area

Tarneit is just 30km from Melbourne's CBD. This south-western suburb provides the flexibility of a short commute from bustling Melbourne or the ability to enjoy the more relaxed pace of suburban or regional living. Tareniet's surround suburbs offers a variety of lifestyles such as great restaurants, wonderful nightlife as well as sporting events.
Tarneit is also a short drive to Geelong which is the gateway to the surfcoast where there is loads to explore. You can visit the 12 Apostles, shipwrecks, museums and relax on the beautiful beaches.

Eligibility Criteria
Have Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or an equivalent postgraduate specialist qualification.
