Position: Rotational RMO

Contract: Full-time, ASAP Start
Salary: NT Award + Package

The Position:
We are working with several of the hospitals in the Northern Territory to find Rotational RMOs to start in July. In this position you will be working within a team to provide excellent care to both inpatients and outpatients. This role offers multiple rotations including core rotations. It has an excellent clinical training programme for both RMOs and Registrars. As part of his health service, you will also gain a strong clinical focus and training in indigenous health and infectious diseases.

The Hospital:
This health service has three hospitals and includes the main tertiary referral centre in the state. The main referral hospital is a major trauma centre and provides care to the whole of Northern Territory and the northern part of Western Australia, which totals a population of over 250,000. This hospital is affiliated with both Flinders University and James Cook University. This hospital has 360 beds and provides a wide range of specialties, including Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Pain Medicine and Gastroenterology. The smaller hospitals in this health service consist of a secondary specialist 110 bed hospital and a rural non-specialist 60 bed hospital. Both of these have 24-hour Emergency Departments.

The Location:
Situated on the edge of a harbour bigger than Sydney's, Darwin is a beautiful, fascinating tropical city known for being a melting pot of people and cultures that prides itself in its unique and friendly laid-back lifestyle.
