Position: O&G Advanced Trainee (Gynaecology and MFM)
Location: Sydney
Salary: NSW Award + package
Contract: 2020 Training Year

We are supporting a teaching hospital in western Sydney to find an O&G - Gynaecology Advanced Trainee, and O&G - MFM Advanced Trainee.

The Position:
As an O&G Advanced Trainee at this hospital, you will be providing effective medical care to O&G patients under supervision. The Gynaecology AT role will be involved in assessment and management of acute gynaecological patients. The MFM AT will be part of the high-risk Obstetric team working to manage high-risk pregnancies. The O&G Department at this hospital has 48 beds, 24 of which are antenatal, and 24 post-natal. It is one of the largest and busiest maternity facilities in Sydney and has approx. 4000 births a year. This role is well supported by Consultants, O&G Trainees, RMOs and Interns.

The Hospital:
Located in western Sydney, this hospital services both urban and rural populations. This position is based at the major tertiary hospital in the district. The hospital has over 500 beds. It has a wide range of inpatient services including: emergency, critical care, acute medicine, surgery (elective and emergency), O&G, NICU, Paediatrics, Mental Health, Aged Care, Rehab and Drug and Alcohol. This hospital is home of one of the University of Sydney Clinical Schools.

The Location:
This hospital is located in western Sydney, approximately 1.5 hours from the CBD. This suburb is the hub of western Sydney and provides services to a wide area, including the Blue Mountains. The Blue Mountains are easily accessible from this location making it a perfect place to live if you're a lover of the outdoors but still wants to enjoy a city lifestyle.

Eligibility:
Current registration with AHPRA or eligible for registration through the Competent Authority Pathway.
