We are assisting one of the base hospitals in WA to find rotational RMOs to join their hospital for the 2020 training year. You will be working within a team to provide excellent care to the inpatients and outpatients of this hospital and local health district.
This is largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area. The organisation comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia
This hospital is 100 bed regional hospital with an emergency department. It provides primary and secondary level services in the areas of paediatrics, renal dialysis, obstetrics and gynaecology, cardiology and rehabilitation services. The busy Emergency Department sees on average 38,000 patients per wear of which 14,000 patients presented required treatment within 30 minutes. It consists of 27 treatment bays including Fast Track as well as 10 bed a 10 bed Short Stay Unit.
