Position: Critical Care CMO
Location: Central Queensland
Salary: Negotiable

The Position:
We are currently seeking Career Medical Officers to provide clinical care to the HDU/ICU for one of the hospitals in Central Queensland. This position will provide first response medical attendance to inpatients in the HDU/ICU. The Career Medical Officer will work under specialist guidance and support of ICU Consultants/VMOs to provide high quality care. This position is ideal for doctors wishing to gain experience in critical care and the not-for-profit healthcare market. It would also be suitable for junior doctors working towards their exams.

The Hospitals:
Based in Central Queensland, this not-for-profit organisation has a number of hospitals along the coast. As a Catholic organisation, they strive to provide the best possible care to their patients and are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join their teams. Each of the hospitals work closely with the public base hospitals which are situated nearby and receive referrals from them and GPs.

The Location:
This not-for-profit group has hospitals in all the major cities of Central Queensland. Spanning a coastline of approximately 600km, this area is home to some of the most stunning beaches in Australia (and the world). These cities are known as the southern gateways to the Great Barrier Reef and are also the closest cities to the Whitsundays and Fraser Island. With a subtropical climate, the weather here is often described as 'perfect.'

Eligibility:
- PGY4+
- General registration with AHPRA
- Previous experience in ED and General Medicine
- Current ALS and APLS or course booking
