Position: ED Medical Officer
Location: Regional VIC
Salary: VIC Award + generous package
Contract: 1.0 FTE

The Position:
We are currently arranging interviews for an ED Resident Medical Officer PGY3+ to join a team in regional Victoria. This role would be well suited to a clinician with leadership experience in an Emergency and Acute Medicine setting. The RMO is required to work autonomously, handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. In this role you be providing high quality care to both outpatients and inpatients.

The Hospital:
This regional hospital employs over 600 staff and provides services to an area of over 100km. The services it offers include: medical, surgical aged care, community and primary health, emergency, renal dialysis, pathology and radiology, among others. The hospital has 143 beds and is a fully integrated rural public health service. The ED is a 24/7 department with access to on call Anaesthetics, Medical, Surgical and Obstetric consultants.

The Location:
This hospital is located in a town of 11,000 people in regional Victoria. This town is located on the edge of the Murray River and in the heart of one of the Victorian wine regions. It has several schools, along with a TAFE. Located on the Murray Valley highway, this town is approximately 3.5 hours north of Melbourne.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for this role, you need to have:
" MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with AHPRA
