Position: O&G PHO (Unaccredited Registrar)
Location: Coastal Queensland
Salary: $105k - $120k depending on experience

We are currently organising interviews for O&G PHOs for a hospital on the Central Coast of Queensland. In this position, you would be working in an established team to provide high quality care to the women of the local area.
This hospital has approximately 70 beds and 2 operating theatres and offers a wide range of general and specialist inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, outpatients, general medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, high-dependency, palliative, and community mental health. There are approximately 500 births each year. There is a 29-bed mixed General Surgical and Medical Ward and a four bed High Dependency Unit.
Known as one of the gateways to the Great Barrier Reef, this region has some spectacular natural wonders. It is close to many islands, waterways and beaches which provide year-round boating, fishing, swimming and surfing with a sub-tropical climate. Famous for its fishing hotspots and beach culture, this region boasts pristine islands, lush hinterland and 14 national parks. It has a population of approximately 60,000 people and a local airport, making access to larger cities simple.
To be eligible for this role, you should either;
- Hold AHPRA General registration and have local Australian clinical experience; or
- Have O&G experience gained in either the UK, New Zealand, Ireland, the US or Canada and be eligible through the Competent Authority Pathway.
