Exciting opportunities available for Resident Medical Officers or Principal House Officers within Coastal Queensland. This major medical centre has recently undergone a redevelopment and has over 170 beds. The department is accredited for 12 months training with the Australian College of Emergency Medicine. The Purpose of the Role:
This position description is general for all RMO and Principal House Officers (PHO's) Specific duties will vary dependent upon the clinical specialty and some will be negotiated with the relevant consultant, the Department of Emergency Medicine and the individual. Each position is supervised by senior medical staff, although a reasonable degree of autonomy is expected. Hospital is a teaching hospital a large University, Student placements occur throughout the year and medical staff is expected to work with the Clinical School in the education program.
What you need to be considered:
Current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration via the competent authority.
Previous Emergency Medicine experience.
