This role provides psychiatric care to patients in a 15 bedded ward at a complex personality disorder service for women with a dual diagnosis of personality disorder and co-morbid disordered eating.
This is a brand new service opening in October 2020 - fully supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist and first-class multidisciplinary team.
You will be working 40 hours per week between Monday to Friday with an on-call requirement.
There is the opportunity to progress career to Consultant level through prestigious CESR programme.
Your role responsibilities...
-Assess referrals & undertake mental state examinations of service users
-Participate in weekly ward rounds & attend multidisciplinary meetings
-Attend Care Programme Approach & Section 117 meetings & mental health review tribunals
-Provide up-to-date clinical information at all meetings

We are looking for someone who is...
-Fully GMC registered & MBBS (or equivalent) qualified
-Committed to continued professional development
-Section 12 Approval (preferred)
CESR programme - This programme will help you develop the skills you need to progress to Consultant level. You'll rotate within wards/services to gain valuable experience across various subspecialties. You'll also have an educational supervisor to review your progress and oversee your development - and you'll receive support with MRCPsych exams.
