Position: Emergency Medicine Registrar

Location: Melbourne Victoria

Contract: Permanent, Full-time or part-time

Salary: $115,000-140,000 depending on experience

The Position:

We are currently looking for an Emergency Medicine Registrar to join one of the leading Emergency organisations in Victoria, on a permanent basis. The position is flexible and can be full-time or part- time. For this role we can consider candidates with current AHPRA on limited, provisional or general registration.

The Hospital:

This is the major metropolitan hospital caring for a community of 300,000 people . It provides services to local residents from birth through to end-of-life care and has a comprehensive range of sub-specialities including emergency medicine, intensive care, obstetrics and gynaecology, aged care, rehabilitation, oncology, mental health, and care in the home. They have implemented educational initiatives for ACEMs Primary and Fellowship exams.

The Location:

This beautiful suburb is in south - east of Melbourne CBD and has a population of approximately 38,000. This area is generally leafy with a wide variety of natural heritage and is a great place to bring up a family and everything is nearby. It is only a 20 min walk to one of the cleanest beaches in Australia. Various institutions are located in the area that support each level of education. There are also a number of sporting facilities available for adults and children.

Eligibility Criteria:

• A primary medical degree
• PGY 3 or above
• Current AHPRA Registration (Provisional, Limited or General)
• Eligibility for AHPRA Registration via the Competent Authority
