Qualification: Senior ED Registrar And ED Registrar
Salary: $158,141 - $230,000 base salary (In accordance with the MECA contract)
Start date: ASAP

More about the hospital: The Hospital is a tertiary level hospital of 400 beds located in the city centre. The ED sees 45000 patients per year. Patient mix is broad and a full range of trauma, medical, surgical, paediatric and minor presentations are seen on a regular basis. Senior support is excellent, with one of the highest Consultant to Registrar ratios in the country.
The ED is currently accredited for six months of advanced training time by the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine. This is likely to be extended to 12 months before the end of 2017. It is also accredited for the Paediatric Logbook component of training. The Hospital has a range of other Registrar positions (including ICU, anaesthetics and medicine) that College trainees are able to rotate into in order to fulfil the requirements of training. Dunedin's university offers papers that meet the criteria of the ACEM Trainee Research Requirement Coursework Pathway.
