Salary: $170,000 - $230,000 base salary (In accordance with the MECA contract)

More about the Role: Working in a high performing team of motivated professionals, you'll be keen to contribute and have an innovative streak when it comes to spotting opportunities for service development. You'll be based in a teaching hospital, so you'll have plenty of scopes to share your knowledge with younger staff, as well as develop your leadership skills.
You'll bring the following qualifications and experience:
- FACEM, or equivalent, with vocational registration in New Zealand
- Current Annual Practising Certificate
- Ability to work independently as an ED specialist in a provincial hospital.
You'll work alongside a team of 6 other FACEM's building an environment of excellence. The Emergency Department has 28,000 patient encounters per annum and performs highly against the Ministry of Health ED targets. There are a quality focus and teaching is a high priority. There are two ED registrars and a core of highly experienced registered nurses.
