Global Medics in collaboration with Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Mental Health and Addictions Service.
The multidisciplinary Paediatric Consult Liaison Team is comprised of nurses, psychologists, paediatric registrars and a part time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. The team provides mental health assessment and treatment to children and young people up to the age of 18 and their Whanau, within both inpatient paediatric units and general hospital settings, as well as in an outpatient setting. The team supports their patients and whanau with adaptation, rehabilitation, health, and reintegration into their communities.
In this role, you will provide expert mental health assessment, advice, and management for patients and whanau from Kidz First Paediatric Hospital, and in the National Burns Unit.
**This role is 0.4FTE**
Essential Requirements:
- You must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or eligible for registration.
- If you are an overseas applicant, you must be eligible to apply for a relevant work visa.
