The service provides acute inpatient psychiatric care for adults requiring stabilisation, assessment, and intensive mental health support. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the unit manages a broad range of complex presentations, including acute psychosis, mood disorders, dual‑diagnosis cases, and crisis admissions. The service is culturally responsive, supporting a diverse population and working closely with community teams to ensure continuity of care and safe discharge planning.
