The Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre and Emergency Department mental health service functions as a high‑acuity assessment and short‑stay unit within a major metropolitan tertiary network. The PECC provides brief stabilisation and intensive review for consumers presenting in crisis, while the ED mental health team manages a continuous flow of acute psychiatric presentations requiring rapid triage, risk assessment, and senior decision‑making.

Rates

$3,050 per day - V Money
