Locum Consultant Psychiatrist - Child and Youth

A large metropolitan mental health service is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to provide specialist support across its Child and Youth Mental Health teams during a medium‑term locum period.

This is a public, multidisciplinary mental health service providing specialist care to children and young people aged 0-17 years who present with moderate to severe, complex, or high‑risk mental health conditions. Serves young people residing within the local catchment area.

Based within a major metropolitan region in Queensland, the service is surrounded by vibrant neighbourhoods, parklands, cafés, and excellent public transport. The area offers a relaxed lifestyle, warm climate, and easy access to beaches and hinterland-ideal for locum doctors seeking a balance of meaningful clinical work and enjoyable downtime.

$2,800 per day
