Global Medics is exclusively partnering with one of Australia's largest and most respected public healthcare providers to recruit multiple Staff Specialist/Consultant Anaesthetists for permanent, full-time positions in southern New South Wales.
These positions offer an excellent opportunity to join a well-established anaesthetic department within a major regional referral centre, providing a broad scope of practice across elective and emergency services. You will be working alongside a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team, with access to modern facilities and a strong focus on high-quality patient care, teaching, and clinical development.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality anaesthetic services across a range of specialties, including general surgery, obstetrics, orthopaedics, and emergency care
- Participate in on-call and after-hours rosters
- Contribute to teaching, training, and supervision of junior medical staff
- Engage in quality improvement, clinical governance, and departmental development activities
Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary: $278,355 to $376,068 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates
- Peer review support provided where applicable
- Relocation assistance, including financial support and up to 8 weeks of accommodation

Requirements
- FANZCA or equivalent
- Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility via the Expedited Specialist Pathway or Area o Need Pathway or Specialist Pathway (with the ANZCA assessment outcome - Substantially Comparable)
- Demonstrated clinical expertise and commitment to high standards of patient care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
