Global Medics is currently arranging interviews for Intensive Care Registrar's for a busy regional hospital in south-eastern Victoria.
You will be working as part of a highly professional and enthusiastic team of specialists, junior medical staff and nursing staff providing critical care services. The role is in the hospitals Critical Care Unit which is a 14-bed mix intensive care, high dependency and coronary care unit with over 1000 admissions a year with a wide medical and surgical case mix. The unit supports a broad range of critical care services including invasive and non-invasive ventilation, renal replacement therapy and is accredited for CICM foundation training.
This hospital offers medical and speciality services to a population of more than 260,000 in within southeast Victoria. Their comprehensive range of services extends to emergency and intensive care, elective surgery, allied health, obstetrics, medical and radiation oncology, dialysis and aged care. The hospital has a number of outstanding facilities following a recent $73 million expansion. These include a cardiac catheterisation laboratory, large Emergency Department, endoscopy suites and modern and contemporary inpatient units. These complement extensive Allied Health amenities including a gym and pool. The hospital is also the regional provider of mental health services in Gippsland. With 289 beds and treatment chairs and is a teaching hospital closely affiliated with University's as well as actively participate in undergraduate teaching.

To be eligible for this position you must have:

- Current registration with AHPRA or be eligible for unconditional AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience
