The Global Medics team in Ireland is aiming to raise €10,000 for an ambulance for the ‘Order of Malta’ a voluntary organisation which Compliance Officer Megan Johnston volunteers for.
The Order of Malta is a major provider of first aid training, ambulance transport and community care services and assistance to other charities throughout Ireland. The ambulance currently serving the Blackrock Unit has been in the healthcare service for 17 years and if the team achieve their fundraising goal, it will be the biggest fundraising amount ever gathered by the unit – more money than the unit takes in through an average year of covering events and fundraising.
Mark Compton, Ronan Corrigan and Davy Glen have already completed a 10k run and will be taking part in the Chicago Marathon in October 2017 to raise funds for this worthy cause. Click here to donate and support the team.
