Global Medics New Zealand are looking for doctors to cover urgent and ongoing Emergency Medicine positions for one of our District Health Boards in New Zealand.

As well as contract and permanent positions, there are also locum roles available for doctors with limited availability.

Role titles inlcude Salary range
Senior Registrar / Staff Grade Emergency $120k – $200k NZD
Potential for locum rates at $150 p/h for 3+ months
Specialist / Consultant $200k – $300k NZD
Potential for locum rates at $187.50 p/h for 3+ months

To be eligible you must have the following experience:
• A specialist qualification in Emergency Medicine and/or,
• 5+ years’ experience in Emergency Medicine

The package for positions is negotiable and includes:
• Competitive salary bandings depending on level
• Flights, accommodation and a car
• Medical board registration fees, college fees and visa expenses reimbursed following a certain length of service
• Locum rates are available for doctors with availability for 3 to 12 months

The beautiful North Island Lakes District provides activities for visitors who love to fish for trout, ski and explore the local geothermal phenomena. Popular experiences include the Huka Falls, geothermal walks, lake cruises, New Zealand’s first public cable Wakeboarding Park and guided kayak expeditions to see the rock carvings at Mine Bay. It is a fantastic region for year-round mountain biking, with the recent completion of the Great Lake Trail. Along with cycling, there’s excellent hiking and golfing opportunities.
