With doctors in demand in Ireland, there are some excellent packages on offer and eligibility rules are more flexible than most.
Ireland’s airports are also very accessible from many European countries (cheap flights home).
Typical permanent salaries in Ireland range from €50,000 – €70,000 for a registrar and €120,000 – €140,000 for a consultant.
Hourly rates for locums are typically between €50-€70 per hour for a registrar and €87-€95 for a consultant.

To be eligible to work in Ireland, doctors must have qualified within an EU country and have a good level of English. There is no requirement to sit an IELTS language test.
To begin working in Ireland, doctors also need to register with the Irish Medical Council. Our consultants are on hand to help with the process, which typically takes around 5 to 8 weeks.
